To celebrate Andrea's birthday, I took the day off and we went hiking at Silver Falls. (Her birthday is actually Saturday but going hiking on Friday worked out better) It was a little wet but didn't rain on us and it was great for hiking.
We used Andrea's GPS to get us there and it took us on all kinds of crazy country back roads until I got tired of hearing it say "Turn left, then turn left..." and went my own way. We drove around Mt Angel and got some gas. On the way home we decided to forget about the GPS and I just followed signs.... much easier!
Hopefully we can go back this summer. It was gorgeous! We will ditch the GPS both ways next time.
